The Sierra Ballpoint pen is a high quality pen that is petite and elegant. It features a very reliable twist cap mechanism, a high quality Parker ballpoint refill, and Black Titanium with Platinum Trim plating. The pen measures approximately 7/16 in in diameter by 5 inches in length. The body is hand turned from an acrylic called Alternative Ivory and has a blue Star of David decal on both sides of the pen. It has been coated with CA (cyanoacrylate) which will preserve and protect it for years. The shape of the star is that of a hexagram, the compound of two equilateral triangles. The six points of the Star of David symbolize God's rule over the universe in all six directions: north, south, east, west, up and down. The hexagram has been in use as a symbol of Judaism since the 17th century, with precedents in the 14th to 16th centuries in Central Europe, where the Shield of David was partly used in conjunction with the Seal of Solomon (the hexagram) on Jewish flags.
