The Forester.  Not a new design but a new concept, The Forester will only be available in wood and titanium gold plating.  For those who love simplicity, it offers the clean look of Euro styling and the elegance of wood.  The titanium gold plating is one of the best available, second perhaps only to Rhodium.  The body is turned from a nice piece of English Walnut that has a great curly grain and several nice knots and splits.  The English walnut, also known as Persian nut, is a native of Western and Central Asia. The nut was the food of the royalty, and was introduced by the Greeks in Rome, where it became Juglans, a name derived from Jovis and glans, meaning Jupiter's Acorn, or the Nut of the Gods. The spread of the Roman empire, carried this royal food throughout continental Europe. In England, it is mostly known as the 'walnut', derived from the Anglo-Saxon language; whereas in America, it is commonly known as 'English walnut' to differentiate it from the native species of walnut. This pen uses a twist mechanism and a smooth writing Cross refill. It measures approximately 7/16 in wide by 5 1/2 inches long. Comes in a grey velour lined gift case. Ships free by USPS Priority Mail.
