This might be Juan Valdez's personal Tycoon. What we do know for sure is the aroma that came from this pen blank while it was being turned was some good. This pen is plated in brilliant and super durable rhodium, the best plating available. The barrels are a lovely ivory colored acrylic imbedded with rich dark brown coffee beans (we do not know what brand). Both barrels feature walnut burl trim on the ends, giving it a distinctive look. The pen has been coated with five coats of CA (acrylamide resin)and polished and buffed to a high gloss. Among this pens features are the Tycoon ultra smooth and durable threading on the posting cap, the clip with its high arch and great spring, a Schmidt 888 ceramic tipped rollerball, a regal design, and striking facets on the rollerball nib.
